Lou Dobbs to Step Down As CEO At SPACE.Com

New York (Apr New York (Apr. 10, 2001) SPACE.com, the premiere space multimedia company, today announced that its founder, Lou Dobbs, will be stepping down as CEO, and will become the anchor of the CNN Moneyline Newshour on May 14th. Dobbs will remain as a member of the Board of the Directors and will maintain his significant investment in SPACE.com, Inc. Since Dobbs founded the company in June of 1999, SPACE.com has risen to become the definitive site on the World Wide Web dedicated to space and all space-related subjects. Dobbs oversaw the successful launch and development of the SPACE.com Website, Space Illustrated Magazine, the first consumer magazine dedicated to space, as well as the acquisitions of Starry Night, the worlds best selling astronomy software, and Space News, the leading newsweekly publication dedicated entirely to the international space industry.
