The first trailer for Disney+'s "The Mandalorian" is set to debut Friday, Aug. 23, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The trailer will debut as part of the D23 Expo.

"After the stories of Jango and Boba Fett, another warrior emerges in the Star Wars universe," reads Lucasfilm's description of the show. "The Mandalorian is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order. We follow the travails of a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic."

"The Mandalorian" is scheduled to debut Nov. 12 as a flagship show for the Disney+ streaming service.
