Jupiter, Venus and the Moon over Ohio
Skywatcher David Griggs took this photo March 25, 2012, north of Cincinnati, Ohio. He writes: "In this photo, you can see from the top to the bottom: Venus, the Moon and finally Jupiter. Over the past couple of weeks, Venus and Jupiter have been "dancing" with each other across the nightime sky. On Sunday, the Moon joined in. All day, the Cincinnati area had been covered with clouds and I thought we wouldn't get to see this. However, about 9:00 p.m., I went outside to find clear skies and this sight ready to be photographed."
