Full Moon Setting Next to Bodie Island Lighthouse
Astrophotographer Greg Diesel Walck sent in a photo of the full moon setting by the Bodie Island Lighthouse, Outer Banks, NC, taken March 27, 2013. He writes: "I have been trying to get a shot like this for almost a year. The weather and timing of the full moonset and dawn provided perfect condtions. I arrived at 6am and walked about 15 minutes into a knee deep marsh that was freezing cold. Set up my tripod and took over 500 images to get this composition."
