Astronaut Candidate Josh A. Cassada
NASA's astronaut candidates for 2013, including Josh A. Cassada, were announced on June 17, 2013. Cassada, 39, has a Ph. D. and is originally from White Bear Lake, Minn. Cassada is a former naval aviator who holds an undergraduate degree from Albion College, and advanced degrees from the University of Rochester, N.Y. NASA's astronaut candidates for 2013, including Victor J. Glover, were announced on June 17, 2013. Glover, 37, is a Lt. Commander in the U.S. Navy, hails from Pomona, Calif., and Prosper, Texas.
