Clouds of Europa
One artist used images taken by JunoCam to imagine a day far into the future. The artist, username Norm S., writes, "Jupiter 1 million years from now rising above the clouds of Europa. Strong tidal forces have increased the pressure inside Europa. Steam from the ocean below leaks into the now atmosphere. Europa's clouds are pure and reflective."

Calla Cofield joined Space.com's crew in October 2014. She enjoys writing about black holes, exploding stars, ripples in space-time, science in comic books, and all the mysteries of the cosmos.
