Disney Parks' Star Wars-themed land isn't scheduled to open until 2019, but guests at this weekend's D23 Expo got an advance look with a highly detailed model of the cityscape.

FIRST STOP: Star Wars Land

The centerpiece of D23's Star Wars Land pavilion is this awesome model of the upcoming theme park, which will open in 2019 at both Disneyland in Anaheim, California and at Walt Disney World in Florida.

Throngs of Star Wars fans gravitated to Star Wars Land display. The 3D model of Star Wars Land is 50 feet across and filled with details of buildings and cities from across the Star Wars universe.

According to a D23 blog post here, Star Wars Land will allow guests "to visit a never-before-seen planet and , a remote trading port and one of the last stops before Wild Space, where Star Wars characters and their stories come to life."

There will be two signature attractions at Star Wars Land, a custom secret mission on the Millennium Falcon and an epic ride through a battle between the First Order and the Resistance, according to the D23 blog.
