Disney Play's Star Wars Show is 'The Mandalorian'
Jon Favreau has pulled back the curtain on his "Star Wars" televison show set to debut on the Disney Play streaming service.
Favreau's text would place "The Mandalorian" in the 30-year space between "Return of the Jedi" (4 After Battle of Yavin) and "The Force Awakens" (34 ABY). The exact time which the First Order rose up has not been established.
Favreau has a deep connection with the Mandalorian race - he voiced the Mandalorian rogue Pre Vizsla in "Star Wars: The Clone Wars"animated series. Darth Maul beheaded Vizsla in the "Shades of Reason" episode.
Disney has not announced a plan release date for The "Mandalorian" or the Disney Play service.
