Red Sea, Nile River and Sinai Peninsula Photographed With Space Shuttle
The Nile River (left) the Sinai Peninsula (center) and the Red Sea are seen in this picture taken from 215 miles up by astronauts aboard space shuttle Discovery. Discovery was docked at the International Space Station when the photo was taken. The aft section of Discovery and the space station's robotic Canadarm2 are visible. The picture was released April 10.
