PhD Researcher in Antarctic Geomorphology, University of Wollongong
Ryan North is a PhD student at the University of Wollongong studying landscape evolution and climate impacts in Antarctica. Ryan’s research investigates the geology, glaciology, and geomorphology of the past – what did Antarctica look like millions of years ago? Thousands of years? 50 years? He has extensive multidisciplinary experience in geochemistry, field geology, remote sensing and image processing. These skills have been developed through his PhD project, Honours project, and personal career as a photographer.
